The Mela Dotted Set brings the full print story together: a satin jacket and matching straight loose-cut pants, both featuring TAS’s signature Mela motif transformed through a distinctive dotted, watercolour-like effect.

Mela is one of the recognisable motifs within the Tom Abang Saufi print vocabulary.
For Mela Dotted, the motif has been transformed through thousands of individual dots, carefully composed to give the artwork a tactile, hand-rendered quality. The effect recalls an artist painstakingly dotting watercolour onto canvas — irregular, textured and full of depth.
The artwork is in fact created digitally, allowing the precision of contemporary design to meet the spirit of traditional handcraft.
